Happy Birthday Lukems - Happy New Year Yall

We got im a book, a perfume (CK Eternity) and a ring. I picked em, Vj commented :P
Had dinner tonight at Noble Palace in Woden. Dunno how long it has been there. Chinese cuisine with all the faves, the normal gravy laden way :) yum. Classy modern minimalist design and comfortable furnishings. However today was understaffed, and the lady in charge (?) failed to impress me with her courtesy when I informed her we had taken an hour and a half to have our entrees served and removed.
Then saw Legend of Zorro. It was shite.

Worked again today, and a bit at the farm. I think my eyes fuckin up are probably reacting to a plant or fertiliser at the nursery... hopefully hay fever tablets can keep it under control. I can feel my eyes ready to crazy again. Off to Melbourne this afternoon. Take care yall, and Happy New Year to ye all!

Christmas Eve

Today was the first day I largely spent relaxing without anything hanging over my head. I've got enough cash to bide me by. Finished my sup (1 day late, 1 week extension, 2 weeks time given!) and although there is a good chance I will not pass the course, I am glad to be done with it all.

Only bought 3 gifts this year. Why? Cause those were gifts that were necessary. If you weren't on that list, well... I'm poor. I didn't get my self anything except the chance of World Cup tickets. Which haven't come through, so probably won't be headed to Germany for the World Cup at this point alas. Maybe this year will be best spent on the ground anyway.

Worked a handful of days this week to get away from the nil cash, -$2000 c/c position I found myself on Saturday last. Soccer on Thursday yielded 3 goals, but none for me, although I assisted in 2. In the end I guess my place was justified given we won 3-2 at the end (although I was also at fault for that goal). So maybe I just canceled out my positive and negative contributions! (female goal counted for 2, and it was clare no less ;P hehe) Had Rubee's (previously Goodberrys in Dickson) afterwards with Steph, Emma and Cassie (who are the pressi list incidently) and it was terrible, runny, no hot dog, oh well - the company was slightly better ;).

Oh, and Merry Christmas yall!

Here are a few of my fave pics from Tasmania. I took all the nature pics along the walk around Cradle Mountain and on the small secluded hike to the lake above Dove Lake. I'm quite happy with the quality of some, which I had to take resting on stones and fixtures to cope with the lack of a tripod in the low light conditions. I've uploaded the most picturesque, and some in both wide and tall shots where I'm uncertain as to which framing I prefer. See them all at my flikr account. If anyone wants a bigger version for a wallpaper let me know. You know you want teh do rag...

la vita julian

I live to the extent of my means and then some. When it works life is great, surfing on the crest of passion and excitement. The view is spectacular, it can be a bit of a slog on the way up, the fall is a doozy, but it's good fun all over and you are left in no doubt when things go wrong ;)

So to live la vita julian,
  • Get a credit card
  • Spend all the money you have saved and max your card
  • Quit your job
And don't worry about it! ;) Cause everything will be alright in the end.

Hingis and Sharapova are playin the Gold Coast Tennis tourney, would be a fun summer trip ;) Anyone wanna go? Alas no money since it's committed to various repayments and purchases!

Nothing makes me forget lifes worries like playing soccer. I have been made coach of Division 7 for ANUFC next year.

This studying thing blows

My sup is lamo. This subject is lamo.
Turns out it's due on Friday goddamit! But I've already committed my schedule to handing it in tomorrow, but that means I have until Thursday night to finish it now at least :S
Sups ruin your holiday. This is an undeniable truth. An axiom of the universe.

Application sent...

For what you say?
For WORLD CUP GERMANY 2006 tickets of course!

Me, Mike O'Connor, VJ and Mike Robiliard are in the barrel - 2 applications and hopefully all (or if not MINE) is accepted!

We'll know on Friday probably whether or not to start hunting for air fares and accomodation in Germany while we take in ALL THREE (3) of Australia's Group F games vs Japan, Brazil and Croatia!

14,000 applications were recieved by 11:40am, and we had ours in early, hopefully early enough! And hopefully we didn't make some tiny obscure error that will thwart us!

Worked today and yesterday, and after this lamo sup, friday. Gotta earn some money to spend on food and whathaveyou in Melbourne, then pay back Vj for flights, then pay back Mike for tickets, then save for air fares to Germany and extra holiday money! Not to mention 'normal year beginning' expenses I haven't even thought about... and frankly don't want to yet! :\

Holiday Movie Schedule

There was a real shortage of decent movies over the last quarter, year even. Batman was great, Wallace and Grommit was my movie of the year, War of the Worlds was average. Then a long wait until Harry Potter returned for a fourth time. A lot of late Australian releases have all been pushed back into what now looks like a pretty crowded Southern Summer schedule, and here are my best picks with a brief intro in order of release.

Boxing Day - 26/12/05

  • The Chronicles of Narnia - The latest in the new movie genre spawned by the success of the Harry Potter franchise, 'The Epic Childrens Adventure'. Great graphics and largely unknown cast, sure to be a hit.
  • The Legend of Zorro - The sequel to Mask of Zorro. Same cast and director so hopefully the same feel as the first which was an ace adventure! However Zorro with Kids may put some off. A good trailer will complete the sale.
  • Broken Flowers - Looks like another role for Bill Murray in the vein of his success with Lost in Translation. Something more adult then the other two, slower paced, and a return to reality over the Christmas period. Don't know much about it, but Murray's last two performances, Translation and the fantastic The Life Aquatic inspire faith.
New Years Day - 1/1/06

  • Chicken Little - Disney, Animated chickens. Will pull a large crowd as it did in the US release. Interestingly this is not a pixar release but the first inhouse Disney CG Animated feature. Just as well cause early impressions of Pixar's next film, Cars, looks terrible.
  • The Producers - The Film, based on the Musical, based on the Film. Yes you read that right! A hit at every incarnation yet I've never seen any so I really ought to get around to it this time. And good filler between the two chick flicks! (OMG pun! lolzors)
  • Valiant - Amazingly ALSO distributed through Disney! Although it didn't gross as much, I'm looking forward to this one more. The war spoof will entertain me no end, and Ewan McGregor has proved his voice talent as the eager, young, idealist in Robots. Made in England - released on the 5th.
Late January - 19/01/06

  • Underworld Evolution - The first was a vastly underated fantasy action flick. Hopefully more of the same sexily tinted violent action.
  • Memoirs of a Geisha - Based on the hit novel and with an accomplished asian cast. Didn't read it, and haven't looked into it. But will be good to see a asian film with hopefully brilliant cinematography minus the fantasy swordplay so the story can take center place.
26/01/06

  • Brokeback Mountain - The most critically acclaimed of the late releases. Gay Cowboys. Based on the American novel, directed by Ang Lee. Sure to be uniquely placed in film, not only among this summers competitors. Just released in the US but in very limited screens. Not sure that this would be well appreciated in the American mid-west where it is set, Bush country.
  • Munich - A return to form for Spielberg after the unsuccesful attempt at horror/suspense/action miasma that was War of the Worlds. Sure to lift Eric Bana to all new heights and the sternest test of his obvious ability as a dramatic actor. Terrific casting, and this time with some real meat on the bone dramatically to create the terrifying effect missing in squeeky clean War. Also starring Geoffrey Rush who doesn't do bad movies.
  • Syriana - Another terrorist, state sponsored violence film starring George Clooney and Matt Damon. Appears to be in the same format as SpyGame, with replacements for Robert Redford and Brad Pitt, but with a singular, slightly more contemporary story. Not yet listed for release.
February

  • Goal! - Recieving loads of press in all Soccer forums, but worryingly and tellingly, little to no critical acclaim. Probably will be quite rubbish, but soccer films are few and far between and rarely have anything to do with the sport in question, wheras this film follows the fictional progression of a player in the sport. 16/2/06
  • AeonFlux - I wasn't a fan of the bizzare animated style of the MTV Animated series. But the futuristic apocalyptic fantasy naturally compels interest. Chalrize Theron in leather, laytex and lycra... I suspect my interest will be held. Hopefully the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse should have been. 23/2/06

New Phone - V3 Razr

It's pretty sexy. Mine is bleck. I edited an mp3 to make my own ringtone. So now if somone rings me my phone will scream the beat of my heart! the beat of my heart! the beat of my heart! :D

It's effectively my old phone with some of the more annoying kinks worked out of it.
  • Thinner, but fatter, less mass and weight overall.
  • Outside screen smaller
  • Inside screen bigger
  • Tron-esque buttons
  • Added functionality smart button (outside button while closed)
  • More memory [7mb] - but no expandability
  • Bluetooth
  • No external aerial which on rare occasion would jab one's thigh
  • Useful video recording (previous version incompatible video format, tiny size and duration)
  • No flash - better camera
  • Better battery? Unknown yet. Apparantly the early version had battery issues. I notice that when you activate the outside screen to tell the time, the INSIDE screen also activates which will surely be a large drain.
  • Email - haven't tested capacity yet
  • Bad ass lookin car handsfree! Not that I have one

Pop Music is Great

Was constantly scanning the pop radio stations searching for another listen to what turned out to be Maybe Tonight - Kate DeAraugo, this years Aus Idol winner... you know the one I mean... with the arms... yeah, those arms. HAHAHAHaH :P
Then heard on the way home from my glorious brace - Beat of My Heart - Hillary Duff, is there anything a Disney starlet can't do?! OMG I am loving this song right now!
And while it's not really floating my boat, esp as much as the previous entrant - Stick Wit U - Pussycat Dolls is pretty coo, wasn't expecting a change of pace for only their second single, which is why I didn't grab it a lot earlier, cause it's been on the lists that trowl searching for new music.

Some music I was listening to before I left included Confessions of a Broken Heart - Lindsay Lohan - Disney Starlet no.2 and who says she's not deep? So Beautiful - Darren Hayes, Madonna - Hung Up, Flame Trees - Sarah Blasko, Push the Button - Sugababes and I'm Sorry (I don't love you anymore) - Craig David.

Also a handful of dance tracks inc, Tiga - You Gonna Want Me, Melissa Tkautz - Glamorous Life, Tom Novy - Take It, Fort Minor - Believe Me, Tom Jones v Funkstar Deluxe - She's A Lady, Medcab - Dance, DJ Peril - It's About to Blow, Paul Mac - It's Not Me, It's You, Martin Solveig - Jealousy.

Edit: Oh!
And Blink 182 - Not Now - Blink always sounds the same, which is great. And like lots of music, reminds me of a time I first heard it. Several years younger than I am now, In a summer much like this one, with even less cares, and probably more energy!

Sunday - Thursday in Tasmania

Sunday - So didn't go by the gorge again. We stayed at a motel near the place, near the place we stayed at before! There was a park opposite - with monkeys. They weren't there when I went bye. Managed to buy one chrissy present before the stores shut.

I've lost a day or two somewhere. Will edit when I realised where I have fked up... I think Monday is missing

Had a huge dinner at the Jail House Grill Steak House. Mum had a small steak, my bro had a medium steak, and I had the largest (although not a large). I'm always attracted to the most unusual food on the menu whenever I am dining abroad (unless I've had a succession of unsuccessful forays previously...) and keeping with such philosophy ordered the attractively named Caprpet Bag. A 300gm steak filled with scallops and prawns. It was pretty heavy going as I helped myself to several plates of the salad bar buffet and the varieties of pasta within. Afterwards I found the nearest club to watch the Sydney FC v Deportivo Saprissa match in the World Club Championship. Sydney played really well in the first half but couldn't score. Then they played like dogs in the second half, especially Dwight Yorke in the center of a 3 man midfield. Midfielders need to move on occassion, and even if you have an awesome playmaker, you still need someone to do the hard yards. This meant Sydney had a 2 man midfield in defence as Yorke loped about looking lost and as if he wished his coach would play him elsewhere. Sydney put ALL it's strikers on the field at once (5) even with a man down, and should have been dead and buried except for some brilliant 2 and 3 v 1 stops by keeper Clint Bolton. Watched the game in a pub in a stairwell of a room - the main area appeared to be dominated by pokies...

Monday
- Went by the Cable HangGliding joint which mercifully was finally open. It cost a tenner to jump on. It was a tourist trap, although fun for the few seconds of the short journey. Effectively a very large, very expensive flying fox with less danger and the inherent thrill from that aspect.

Tuesday - Had a quick look at some old candy factory then drove to Hobart. Too late to catch the Cadbury Factory Tour so found a crappy trailer park to crash at. Lunched at a local mall, then headed in to Hobart to see if there was a movie showing. There wasn't so I played some Dance Machine. I did not get any better, but I have now played pretty much all the level 5 songs at least once, and can beat 90% of them. Level 6 I am struggling to compete. The trailer/park turned out to be INFESTED with mosquitos. Mum had the great idea of leaving the bathroom light on and the door open to lure them into there. That had the effect of luring mosquito's IN through the fan in the bathroom, and then into the sleeping room where me and my brother were promptly mauled. I decided to sleep with my head under the covers to little effect in the morning, but at least I was spared the incessent whining near my ears keeping me awake. Andrew was significantly more frustrated and after turning on the lights twice to do combat with his innumerable foe, withdrew to the car. However, ineptitude at door closing and window shutting allowed the feast to continue.

Wednesday - Went to the Cadbury Factory in the morning. The tour was pretty short, and we got a small handful of chocolate. Then we bought significantly more chocolate in the store where bags upon bags of reject and discounted stock stood waiting for fat asses. And there was at least one really fat, ass buying more chocolate than can be healthy. Afterwards went into Hobart CBD to shop with my remaining time. Managed to get all the main pressie recipients off of my list. I think wandering about looking for presents just doesn't work - I call this the Scattergun Approach. I inevitably look at stuff that I want. I prefer to think of a suitable gift or gift genre and then focus my searching there. Which is important in terms of energy efficiency as I prefer to use the Exhaustive Method wherebye I peruse every item within the given category/store before coming to a decision - twice. After a rest at the motel, where I drew a coo self portrait, we had curry. It was hot. Then played Dance Machine. Playing Dance machine with someone else definetly prolongs my own experience, as the other person can keep me alive. But it's not cheaper if you are also paying for the other person. That was the only means by which I convinced my brother to lumber onto the pads and feel a fool on Beginner (not cause it was too easy!). However he got better quick enough that he kept me alive through the entire song of Paranoia 270bpm! (still on beginner of course). I won't be even attempting Paranoia for a long time, if ever. It's simply so far beyond my ability to enjoy at the moment.

Thursday - got up, realised I LOST MY SENNHEISSER HEADPHONES then headed for the airport. Flew to Melbourne, loitered in the Blue Room for a few hours then flew to Canberra. Loitered a while until Andrew's friend Dean showed up to ferry us home. Then rushed to Summer Comp and SCORED TWICE - once in each period in a large and comfortable win.

Wednesday - Sunday in Tasmania

My Mum and Brother are driving me loco.
Half of Wednesday was spent flying. 1 hour to Melbourne, 2 hour wait, 1 hour Hobart. In Hobart we stayed at some backpacking joint but had our own room. There were Irish codgers about the place and silent Asian types. Also a french girl. My mum couldn't stop talking, I stayed quiet while she asked the Irishman,
"Oh you're from Ireland? Are they their own country? So you support Sinn Fein?"
The Toyota Corolla 5 door hatch we're renting has a smooth ride and responsive engine, the only thing that shits me is the prominent right hand pylon that blocks vision when turning. Had a quick look about Hobart in the cold wind then retired. My eyes got worse before they got better. Puffy as the marshmellow man, but started to settle down over a few days. Unsure why. The eye drops don't help at all, either type.
Thursday I got sick of my immediate relatives and they went on their own to Port Arthur. I spent the day wandering Hobart, searching for Dance Machine, increasing mystockpile of pharmacy medicines, and yelling at Optus Insurance in the guise of my father. I did find Dance Machine. It was pretty expensive at $2 per 3 rounds, and I frequently went out on ththe second and first rounds. My Level is Standard 5. 6 I struggle, 7 I lose. Also I found a Koorong, it was big and christian.
Friday we changed Hotels within Hobart, drove out east to WineGlass Bay. It was pretty barren, very overcast, windy, and rather unexciting. Drove home and did many a Sudoku and otther puzzles from some shitty Puzzle Book. I am owning these easy Sudoku, I'll be bored of them soon enough.
Saturday drove to Launceston which for the previous period my Mum had been calling Laun-cheston, and my Brother, the fountain of knowledge he is, imitated. The drive was easily the most pleasant, and coincided with the here-to-fore best condition my eyes have been in. The rest of my body had become racked by another tedious fungal infection or some shit (when it rains...). The drive was gorgeous, excellent weather, not the over cast, windy, rain intermittent crap we've put up with so far. In Launceston, had a hunt for Dance Machine but could only find the pretender Pump dance game - pads in the corners? WTFstfuLAMO. Had a few games of Silent Scope 2 then we went to see the Cataract Gorge in Launceston, which was pretty cool. Unfortunately didn't have the digital camera with me and the video camera promptly ran out of battery power. Turns out the camera's battery is almost buried, and there is an issue with the internal screens going blue intermittently - unsure if the latter affects what is recorded. Anyway, the Gorge includes a gorgeous garden with Peacocks all over the place, and pleasantly lit. Several short path's ring the gorge itself, and on one side is a shallow public pool in a park area on the edge of a pooled area of the gorge! Could totally get used to living in Launceston and walking down there for lunch, a swim, or a kick of the ball in the parked areas, or even just to sit and eat a peacock. Saturday night we had fox in the Adina Place Apartment we stayed at - the best motel so far. So I watched the Liverpool - Middlesborough game where all 3 aussies started. Kewell looked good witth some dribbles and a few crosses, but he's not as sharp as Morientes and couldn't latch on to any of the latters flick-ons. Viduka had a great chance and shot in the second half but saw his drive blocked by the legs of Reina. Went to sleep on the couch and only saw glimpses of the other 2 games, Wigan v Chelsea and Newcastle v Arsenal?
Sunday drove to Cradle Mountain. Andrew was driving - so we got lost, cause he's an idiot and didn't listen to me. I hear a lot of people telling me I think I'm always right, I hear them telling me I'm Wrong much less frequently... Cradle Mountain was pretty coo. A 2 hour walk around the Lake turned into a 3 or 4 hour trek as I both took my time to take plenty of photo's, and followed a much trickier than expected path up to a secluded lake right beneath the mountain face. Had a small chinese dinner at a decent restaurant then retired to yet another different motel - they had a decent home cooked english style breakfast - muffins, fruit and cereal and the like.
Monday. Finally I find myself here, in an Internet Cafe in Launceston. Hopefully will revisit the Gorge to take some pics, and maybe go Cable HangGliding cause it sounds inherently cool. The weather is fine again today so hopefulyl will take advantage of it.

Other Notables: Hobart and Tasmania have may one way streets, planned in loops, despite bot h cities being quite small. The size of a city can be judged I suppose by it's population of Dance Machines. Canberra has 2 (? 1 in intencity?), Hobart has 1, Launceston has an imitation 1. Also in the shitty ancient Arcade in Launceston where all the machines were $2! I came across a unique arcade... Agro's Great Game! A ticket game with 1 button, which you hit when the Agro on screen tells you, e.g. to smash a bug. The game was quite hilarious to look at. The cabinet was ultra dodgy and read Agro's Good Game and the good was crossed out and replaced with great. It was less than the quality of the old Simpsons Game arcade machines which used to be in all arcades. Also Agro would randomly call out "Gimme more tickets!" while in the idle mode. This internet cafe has the SHITTEST keyboards. The entire keyboard is sloped to the left. Not up and down, like the microsoft ergonomic keyboards, its sloped like a wedge of cheese. It's fkin annoying. And it's laid out like a compact board despitte being full size! Meaning the end/home keys arern't isolated and I keep hitting them since they are now wedgedup against the important keys which have been reduced, e.g. backspace, delete, enter, shift... ggaaaayy.

World Cup Draw: Something needs saying about this of course. I couldn't get up early enough to watch the draw but Cecila texted me the group. Deutsche Welle had a lot to say about it and by coincidence paid particular attention to Australia! Their view might be viewed as the international view of Australia's recent performances so was curious. In a word, Guus. He will be recieving all the plaudits for Australia's performance next June it appears, but with decent reason. Also we were said to have a 'fantastic, talented squad with players all over europe' and our defeat of Uruguay has not gone unnoticed. Against Brazil, Japan and Croatia: lose to Brazil, but whoever gets a draw against the joint favorites will have an edge over the others who will probably not pick up points. Japan got past the group stage at home, but I think/hope they won't be in the reckoning. Croatia has some ex-aussies to spice up the game but we can also overcome them too hopefully, they are now without Davor Suker and others although Dado Prso is still about. Australia to get past the group stage! Go and bet now!

Moments

Moments of oppurtunity,
chance take flight.
Moments that glisten,
never linger longer than the dew.

Ciao for a week

Watched Domino (average), Harry Potter (entertaining) and Shopgirl (charming).

Forgot to pick up my failed exam - and more importantly the notes attatched!

Have puffy, swollen, bruised eyes from a mystery allergy that has come unannounced.

I want to spend the week reading, relaxing and thinking, but will end up spending it on holiday activities and planning my labour law essays. I want a break to create. I've been more busy and occupied these last few weeks than any others all year I expect. While nothing extremely taxing...

For a good time CALL...

So I found my phone.
I looked down, and wa-la! There it was, sitting pretty on the passenger side floor of my car.
Crazy stuff.

In a side note: optus insurance are bitches. Proof of purchase my ass. Itemised account my balls. FKUC YOU OPTUS INSURANCE PRIXORS! Plus they said they'd call me if I faxed them, but the stood me up - bitches. Eventually I will wear them down under a mountain of faxed receipts, and jump through their silly hoops, and have a brand new kick ass fone at the end of it - me hopes!

Inspired

I feel the beginnings of a poor book, and an average screenplay taking root.
I watched The End of the Affair last night, based on the book by - Grahame Greene - wow, he also wrote The Quiet American another story and film involving jealous male lovers. Anyway while I'm reading up on Greene's bibiliography I'll return to the point.
Affair's primary themes were obsessive love and to a lesser extent, and what came as a suprise to me, religious love. The protagonist is an atheist to boot. And the woman comes to God so to speak.
In addition I've been dabbling in some other Christian apolgetic or explanatory texts and have been thinking about linked philosophies while I gather a picture of what actually constitutes Christianity.
I hope I actually get something down on paper. I have reborrowed Don Quixote from the library and also picked up The Picture of Dorian Gray. That and the 2 texts I've been leafing through ought to keep me entertained. Maybe if this idea turns into a few chapters or scenes I'll revise my reading list to more texts on topic.

Going through Greene's biography I notice The Power and the Glory (published 1940, condemned by the Vatican 1953) and Monsignor Quixote.

Glorious Goal No.1 - Motion Triptych (Art)

Summer comp is up and running finally. Don't know half the team yet so I call them "Mark, Michael, Matt?". We had 3 of the above last year, suddenly it occurs to me that they might not be with us anymore, 2 are at any rate.

Some easy opposition was good to warm up against. 4 male subs today, but that suited me fine as I pretty much played to capacity given I limped off the field.

Not before I got off the mark with our team's first goal - the all important equaliser, before we cruised to a 5-2 victory. Adam fed me the ball, a 5 yard pass from my right - see artwork!

Yeah, moments before that I took a similar pass from the left hand side, and instead of controlling shot first time with my right foot (and missed) and then landed on the folded knee. 10 mins or so after the goal, cause I subbed myself off after the goal (*golfclap for me*)I felt the knee start to tell me to fuck off. So I ran on it abit more, then it promptly told me NO. 5 minutes of intense pain on the sideline ensued, but fortunately subsided as quickly as it had occurred and left me amply swollen. I presume the pain was from the hyperflexion of the fall after the adrenalin wore off, that and/or the mere impact of the sustained intensity of the excercise.

Adam missed out on a goal after the whistle at the end of the first half, and Steph had a final goal sharked by the opposition defender.

Art notes: I started with the central figure, but was unhappy with the dramatic impact of the pose. The final piece in the triptych is better but not great. In truth the goal was pretty plain.

But I was limited in my creative flair by oppressive heat, scarcity of water, and the energy sapping blades of terribly overgrown grass. It had actually been cut recently! But at far too high a height (my whole foot was buried when resting!) and the catcher must have filled and left excess grass cuttings strewn across the playing surface. I shall have to contact FIFA.

Art note: I monkeyed with the original line art and was very happy with the watercolour sytlised effect on the line art and recontrasted the image. I have to learn how to use this scanner properly. Ideally I wanted to upload the pencil art unadulterated, but one scan was too soft but detailed (image on page beneath) and the other too contrasted and B&W. However then I might not have been inspired to colour, however primatively.

Went to Adam's house afterward to ice my leg. Must remember (STEPCH! CECILIA!) to get my ice pack back from the women's club. My team's first aid kit was minus one ice pack this season, and despite constant pleading with the club on selfless behalf of my precious players I never received a replacement. Come finals I was far too concerned for their safety to allow the situation to remain neglected and selflessly and at great personal exertion provided my own personal ice pack to ensure the players would suffer less. Now I need it back!

I'm so humble. Somebody should saint my righteous ass.
