Aewsomest Weddins Eva!

Adam's wedding was sweet!
Everything went so smooth and the day was picture perfect too. Wake up and head over to his folk's place - have a small bite to eat. Already polished shoes, clipped nails, shaved and showered. Time to suit up and DAYUM I look good!
The 20's theme 3 piece and tails were very dapper. Time for photos! Oh yeah. The photographer indulged me an individual shot. Sweeteth.

Then to the Church. Which although dark and closted the night before was airy and bright for the big day. A 30 minute wait for the fashionably tardy bridal party afforded enough time for Mike O to get his lazy ass to the church on time :P The ceremony it self went smooth. Adam negotiated Kirty's tricky hawaiian middle name only to make a tiny slip near the end. But many signatures and photographs later, we walked down the aisle and he was married!

No rest for the devilishly handsome though, and after a break for nibbles, it was off to an arduous phot shoot at Commonwealth park. Biting cold wind and rapidly vanishing sunlight meant staring into the dipping sun for an hour. Then standing in the cold outside the Museum for family pics until we were let in.

Then we could relax a bit in the 'Friends' room cloistered upstairs, where with a private bar, it was time to start partying. Between drinks and nibbles Adam managed to spill chilli sauce on his sparkling white vest, soda water and much fussying among the bridesmaids left him only damp afterwards. In 30 minutes Cassie (Adam's sis) taught me to rumba which I instantly mastered (it helps to be such a fantabulous dancer and having previously taken ballroom), and then it on to the reception.

The room at the National Museum was well appointed. Lincoln (Adams's father) and Gary Bromley (Kirsty's father) and Jay all spoke briliiantly, before Adam said his piece and didn't leave a dry eye in the room! Michael O'Connor, Luke, Varuna and Mike Fish with his woman Claire (probably next up the aisle) were all present and I spent half my time between them and the bridal table - being on the table served first rox! When it came time to dance, I roxedord your soxors!

Eventually Adam and Kirsty said their farewells before copious alcohol and not enough food caught up with me to finish me off for the night! Luke took me home to sleep it off.

Now they day after Adam and Kirsty will be in Sydney before winging it to the Maldives tomorrow! Mean time I need to find Jay and get my bag full of gear including my glasses back so I can finally see something!!

Wedding Photo's to follow!!
